Phil Eichorn provides legal counsel to employers on all aspects of U.S. immigration law. His practice spans the entire scope of employment-based immigration matters including Permanent Residency pathways such as PERM, EB-1’s and NIW’s, as well as nonimmigrant employment visas such as E-3’s, H-1B’s, L’s, O-1’s, and TN’s. 

Before joining Mehlman Jacobs, Phil was a senior associate and partner in mid-sized immigration firms. As an adjunct professor at Cleveland State University’s Marshall School of Law, Phil taught immigration law in the classroom and the clinic. 

Phil earned a B.A. from THE Ohio State University and his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. He is licensed in Ohio and has practiced before the U.S. Supreme Court, Third, Fourth, Sixth, and Ninth Circuits. He is an active member the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association. As well, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and The American Registry (Texas Top Lawyers) continue to recognize Phil for his achievements.
